1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MeetSpotAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeetSpotAI website at meetspotai.com, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform") provided by MeetSpotAI, Inc. ("MeetSpotAI," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to access most features of the Platform.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Platform Services

4.1 Event Discovery and Hosting

MeetSpotAI provides an AI-powered platform for discovering, creating, and managing local events and communities. Our services include event browsing, RSVP management, event hosting tools, community groups, messaging, and AI-powered recommendations.

4.2 AI-Powered Features

Our Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized event recommendations, conversational search, and smart scheduling. AI recommendations are provided as suggestions and may not always be perfectly accurate. MeetSpotAI does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated recommendations.

4.3 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription tiers (Free, Attendee Plus, Host Starter, Host Pro, and Enterprise) with different features and capabilities. Plan details, pricing, and features are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent event listings
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or scrape user data without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Circumvent any security or access controls
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

6. Event Hosting Responsibilities

If you host events on MeetSpotAI, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete event information
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations for your events
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of event attendees
  • Obtain any necessary permits, licenses, or insurance for your events
  • Respond to attendee inquiries in a timely manner
  • Not discriminate against attendees based on protected characteristics

MeetSpotAI is a platform for connecting hosts and attendees. We do not organize, control, or supervise events, and we are not responsible for the actions of hosts or attendees at events.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant MeetSpotAI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post your content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All payments are processed through Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms of service.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our refund policy.
  • We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, software, AI models, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by MeetSpotAI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our written permission. The MeetSpotAI name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of MeetSpotAI, Inc.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MEETSPOTAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR ANY DECISION.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETSPOTAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. MEETSPOTAI IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY HARM THAT MAY OCCUR AT EVENTS HOSTED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeetSpotAI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Seattle, Washington. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and, where appropriate, sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
